Initially drawn to cardiac surgery, my path shifted during medical school after witnessing the profound impact of a compassionate cancer surgeon. Personal experiences with breast cancer in my family further solidified my commitment to this field. I pursued my medical degree and surgical training with a focus on breast surgery, driven by a passion to make a meaningful difference in the lives of my patients. While there are many types of challenges people face, those related to health are among the most daunting.

The ability to be knowledgeable, skilled, and compassionate enough to assist others in these critical moments is both a blessing and the fulfillment of a lifelong dream. This dedication is reinforced by personal experiences with breast cancer in close family members, both during surgical training and later in research. I specialize in treating a wide range of breast conditions, including breast cancer, benign breast disease, and high-risk breast disease. My expertise extends to my surgical techniques which include breast conservation, oncoplastic reduction lumpectomy, nipple-sparing mastectomy, with innovative procedures to preserve nipple sensation, aesthetic flat closures to smooth the chest wall, and hidden scar surgery. In addition, I perform sentinel lymph node biopsies, axillary surgeries, breast biopsies, and breast duct explorations.

With over 20 years of experience in the field, I bring a wealth of knowledge and a patient–centered approach to my practice. My commitment to staying at the forefront of breast cancer care and breast health is reflected in my involvement with groundbreaking clinical trials and research.
