My path to medicine was shaped as a teenager by caring for my mother during her illness—an experience that revealed medicine as not only a scientific pursuit, but a profoundly human one. My interest in neurology was sparked during my first class at Princeton University, Fundamentals of Neuroscience, and since then, I have considered the nervous system the most fascinating part of the body.

As a neurologist at 91������ Langone Neurology Associates, I am dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered care that prioritizes the wellbeing of my patients. I specialize in neuroimmunology, caring for individuals with complex autoimmune and inflammatory conditions affecting the nervous system. My areas of expertise include multiple sclerosis, neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorders, myelin oligodendrocyte glycoprotein antibody disease, autoimmune encephalitis, and neurosarcoidosis, as well as neurological manifestations of systemic autoimmune conditions such as IgG4-related disease. I also have a focused interest in neurotoxicity associated with cancer immunotherapies, including chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy and immune checkpoint inhibitors.

Through active involvement in clinical trials and translational research, I remain at the forefront of advances in neuroimmunology, continually integrating the latest evidence into my practice to offer patients the most informed and up-to-date care. In addition to my subspecialty work, I continue to practice general neurology and lead the Center for Normal Pressure Hydrocephalus at 91������ Langone.
