As a clinical assistant professor of child and adolescent psychiatry at 91������ Grossman School of Medicine, I am dedicated to providing compassionate, patient care. My role allows me to work closely with a team, ensuring that each patient receives comprehensive and coordinated care.

I specialize in evaluating and treating patients with anxiety and mood disorders, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and disruptive behavior disorders. Additionally, I lead a body image group program at the Child Study Center–Long Island, which focuses on building positive body image and self-esteem in adolescent girls and young women. With years of experience in the field, I am committed to staying at the forefront of child and adolescent psychiatry, continually enhancing my skills to provide the best possible care for my patients.

Throughout my career, I have authored papers on diagnosing and treating child and adolescent psychopathology and explored the differential effects of acculturation and spirituality on resilience development. I have also conducted numerous workshops and trainings for school staff, parents, and other mental health service providers, emphasizing proactive healthcare engagement and the importance of fostering strong partnerships with patients and their families.

My journey into psychiatry was inspired by a deep-seated passion for helping others and a desire to make a positive impact on the lives of young people. I am passionate about providing my patients with positive and constructive ways to use skills to improve their own lives and create positive changes in the world around them.
